The National Defence College in Collaboration with the Centre for Parliamentary Studies and Training successfully conducted a five days’ Course on National Security and Strategy for the leadership of the National Assembly of the Republic of Kenya. The Course was conducted at Ol-Tukai Lodge in Amboseli between 25 to 29 January 2021. Fifteen members of the National Assembly were awarded Certificates in National Security and Strategy. This was the second cohort of the National Assembly to undertake a similar training.
The training was meant to help the leadership of the National Assembly to have a deeper understanding of the security environment of the Republic of Kenya in general and further equip them with the requisite knowledge and skills to strategically tackle challenges arising from Kenya’s security environment
